Operating Room RN – Travel

Requirements:

• GA or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 4 years of Operating Room experience prior to travel
• Required specialty experience in Neurology, Transplant (solid organ), General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedics
• Travel RN experience required
• BLS certification required
• Experience with Epic charting system required

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in the operating room setting.
• Assist in a variety of surgical procedures including but not limited to Neuro, Ortho, Transplant, General Surgery, and GYN.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor patient status during and after surgical procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control protocols.
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning as needed.

Compliance / Notes:

• Max time off per contract: 7 days
• No holiday time off will be approved during blackout periods
• 36 hours of non-billable orientation required
• Complete compliance documents before the specified deadlines
