Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting early childhood and elementary-aged students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about making a meaningful difference for young learners while enjoying the flexibility and convenience of remote work. You'll work with a single site and a manageable caseload, focusing on communication development and speech therapy within a supportive school environment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active and current Delaware SLP license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or eligible for CFY supervision
- Previous experience in school-based or pediatric SLP roles
- Strong commitment to supporting early childhood and elementary student populations
- Comfortable and effective working in a remote therapy setting
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging, individualized speech and language services remotely to students with diverse needs
- Evaluate and assess student speech and language abilities, and develop tailored treatment plans
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to create supportive educational environments
- Accurately maintain progress notes, reports, and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
- Provide timely updates to administrators and participate in virtual team meetings
