Come build your career with Boeing!Position Responsibilities:Support a project management-based gated process using the phase-gate processAssist in the interpretation, analysis, and development of engineering data (blueprints, data sets, specification, logic diagrams, electrical circuit schematics, etc.) to support requirementsAssist in demonstrating the effectiveness of test methodsDevelop test procedures and the instrumentation and configuration definition needed to perform each test and minimize riskDesign component and sub-assembly level hardware or software, and use analytical tools to verify designAssist in coordinating the manufacture and assembly of internally overhauled or third party-procured test hardwareIdentify solutions to basic problems and support the development of metrology processes, methods, and toolsAssist in evaluating test performance data for accuracy, quality, or fidelity. Alert senior engineers of off-nominal data and prepare test reports for review prior to delivery to customerAssist in the development of test debrief materialCollaborate with program management, design authority engineering groups, operations, and government customer counterpartsAs assemblies, instruments, cables, and interfaces are replaced due to obsolescence, additional engineering responsibilities will include creating or revising and reviewing drawings and documents and conducting test and qualification of the overhauled test equipmentBasic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement2+ years of related work experience and a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of related work experience and technical education1+ years of manufacturing, production, or electrical/instrumentation engineering experiencePreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):Proven record of either developing or executing test plans or test proceduresTest software development and/or support experience using LabVIEW and/or Microsoft Visual Studio, or other comparable programming languagesLaboratory testing, data analysis, instrumentation, system integration, or manufacturing (specifically assembly, integration, and test) experienceGovernment or DoD program experience Boeing
