JOB FUNCTION: Reporting to the Director of Administrative Services, this position performs all clerical duties related to agency human resources management. This position provides comprehensive Human Resources support by coordinating recruitment, hiring, background checks, employee onboarding, and maintaining accurate and confidential personnel records. The role ensures employee information, required documentation, training records, and regulatory requirements remain current and compliant. It also supports employee relations, communicates HR policies and procedures, assists with employee appreciation initiatives, and works closely with management and staff to address workplace needs. The position requires strong organization, confidentiality, professionalism, teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines while supporting the overall goals and operations of the organization.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field preferred
• excellent computer skills and strong organizational skills require
• ability to relate well to co-workers as well as outside contacts required
• experience with human resources or payroll software preferred.

License:

• Must possess a valid Driver’s License and maintain acceptable liability insurance

Knowledge:

• Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, problem-solving, interpersonal and analytical skills required;
• Must be knowledgeable in computers and other basic office equipment;
• Knowledge of community resources, methods and practices of health and safety precautions, providing age-appropriate education services and facilitating family involvement in program services.
