Branch Operations Manager

Company Description Petroleum Materials, LLC is a leading supplier and manufacturer of above-ground storage tanks, pumps, petroleum equipment, and related products serving Texas and surrounding states. Role Description The Branch Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Burton, TX, responsible for overseeing daily branch operations in the oil and energy environment. This role manages scheduling, inventory, logistics, and order fulfillment to ensure accurate, timely delivery of products and services. The Branch Operations Manager leads and coaches team members, assigns tasks, and monitors performance to maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards. Day-to-day activities include coordinating with sales and customer service, resolving operational issues, reviewing reports and KPIs, managing vendor relationships, and supporting budgeting and cost control. The role works closely with senior leadership to implement process improvements and support branch growth. Qualifications Strong operations and logistics management abilities, including scheduling, inventory control, and workflow coordination. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising, training, and developing diverse teams in a branch or plant setting. Solid understanding of safety, regulatory, and compliance practices, preferably in oil, energy, or industrial operations. Proficiency in using business software and systems (e.g., ERP, inventory management tools, MS Office) to monitor and report on performance. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle escalations and resolve operational issues promptly. Experience managing budgets, controlling costs, and contributing to financial performance targets at a branch or departmental level. High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in business, operations management, or a related field is preferred. Previous experience in welding and steel fabrication required. Pervious experience in oil, energy or manufacturing operations is strongly preferred. Ability to work on-site in Burton, TX, including standing, walking, and performing operational oversight in warehouse or yard environments as needed. #J-18808-Ljbffr
