WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The Training Coordinator is responsible for designing, developing, coordinating, and implementing training programs that improve employee performance, knowledge, and capabilities. Working closely with department leaders, this role identifies training needs and opportunities, supports new hire onboarding and continued employee development, and helps ensure training programs align with organizational needs. You will: Design and develop electrical and avionics system integration solutions for commercial and business aircraft. Develop and implement training programs that support employee performance, knowledge, and skill development. Identify training needs, skills gaps, and development opportunities across the organization. Partner with department heads and managers to understand business needs and determine appropriate training solutions. Support new hire onboarding and continued employee development throughout the employee life cycle. Create engaging training materials, including presentations, videos, handouts, and other learning resources. Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and learning activities for employees. Apply adult learning principles to create effective and engaging training experiences. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and recommend improvements based on feedback, results, and organizational needs. Collaborate cross-functionally with leaders and employees to identify current and future training requirements. Forecast future training needs in partnership with departments across the organization. Manage and maintain the training budget while supporting responsible allocation of training resources. Utilize e-learning platforms and training software to support learning and development initiatives. Stay current on industry trends, training practices, and employee development approaches. Coordinate training activities, schedules, resources, and logistics to ensure successful program delivery. Support continuous improvement of training programs, materials, processes, and learning experiences. Maintain a positive, professional, and supportive learning environment for employees, customers, and vendors. Perform additional duties as assigned by department management.

WHAT YOU BRING:

You’ll thrive in this role if you bring: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in training and development. Five (5) years of aviation-specific experience preferred. Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and their application in workplace training. Experience developing and delivering employee training programs and learning materials. Experience with e-learning platforms and training software. Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively engage diverse audiences. Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple training initiatives and priorities. Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities. Experience with training budget management and resource planning. Ability to collaborate effectively with department leaders, employees, and cross-functional teams. Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate in an assertive yet professional, motivating, and tactful manner. Strong working knowledge of computers and related software. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-sensitive environment. Positive and professional approach when working with employees, customers, and vendors. Ability to travel approximately 20% of the time to support training at different locations. Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently. Must submit to and pass pre-employment drug testing and any applicable company/FAA Drug and Alcohol Abuse Program that may be required. Must be able to pass required background checks, including a 10-year TSA check if airport access or badging is required.
