We'recurrently hiring Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs) to provide personal care and clinical support to patients across a variety of care settings. New graduates are welcome! WHAT YOU'LL DO Core Responsibilities: Complete in-home assessments to evaluate an individual’s physical health, mental status, safety, and ability to perform daily tasks, including checking vital signs and medications Assistclients with activities of daily living (ADLs): companionship, meal prep, mobility support, bathing/grooming/dressing, medication reminders (non-clinical), and light housekeeping Ensure patient privacy, dignity, and well-being in a safe and secure environment Document all care tasks accurately in theCareLinxmobile appduringeach shift Submit timesheets on time through theCareLinxapp Communicate with your Care Advisorregardingany case updates or changes in patient condition Maintain client confidentiality at all times Additionalshift opportunities (based on client needs): Transportation and errand support Hospital discharge escort — safelyaccompanyingmembers home after discharge Telehealth navigation — helping members connect with virtual doctor visits WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Required Qualifications: Six (6) months of Medical Assistant experience or relevant educational background (CMA, MA,CNA, LPN, LVN,etc.) Active CMA Certification Access to a smartphone capable of running theCareLinxapp (requiredfor scheduling, documentation, and timesheets) Ability to communicate in English (bilingual caregivers strongly encouraged to apply) Reliable transportation to and from agreed upon shifts Must pass a background check Program-Specific Requirements (May Apply) Medical clearance such as TB test or physical exam Additionaldocumentation may berequiredbased on state law or client contract Some training requirements may be needed prior to accepting shifts Skills & Attributes: Compassionate, patient, and professional — you treat every client with dignity and respect Reliable — when you commit to a shift, you show up on time, every time Committed to the patient — you show up ready to help them get through their day safely and comfortably, within your defined scope of care Self-directed and organized — you manage your schedule and communicate proactively Strong verbal and written communication skills Tech-comfortable — confident using a smartphone app for scheduling, documentation, and timesheets ABOUT CARELINX BY SHARECARE CareLinxby Sharecare is a leading nationwide network of tech-enabled caregivers and licensed nurses dispatched on-demand to serve patients in need.
