Postdoctoral Research Associate - Psychological & Brain Sciences

- **Position Summary**The Postdoctoral Research Associate will contribute to an NIH-funded project investigating age-related changes to episodic memory for the content and structure of naturalistic events. This individual may also be tasked with developing independent research projects in the lab on these topics. Studies additionally may investigate the effects of healthy aging and Alzheimer’s disease on memory processes. Research projects will involve functional brain imaging techniques (fMRI), behavioral measurement, and computational modeling approaches. Opportunities for collaboration within the department and across departments can be pursued.# **Job Description****Primary Duties & Responsibilities:**Information on being a postdoc at WashU in St. Louis can be found at .Trains under the supervision of a faculty mentor including (but not limited to):* Study Development: Conducting literature review, designing studies, creating study materials and collecting data.* Analyzing Data: Compiling, cleaning, and analyzing data.* Writing: Writing manuscripts.* Communication: Meet with the PI and the lab regularly to discuss research progress and address any issues that arise.* Perform other duties as assigned.**Salary Range:**Base pay is commensurate with experience.The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by people assigned to this classification.
