Mattel Digital Studios (MDS) is a cross-functional division that leverages digital innovation to amplify Mattel's iconic brands, expanding into digital gaming, interactive experiences, and emerging technologies. The MDS Strategy team is the central hub for strategy and insights across MDS. The Opportunity: Mattel is seeking a Manager to join the MDS Strategy team at its El Segundo, CA headquarters, helping develop long-term strategic roadmaps, overseeing financial modeling, and ensuring operational efficiency across all MDS units — shaping the digital future of Mattel through emerging technologies, digital transformation, and data-driven decision‑making. This position offers: significant impact shaping MDS's strategic roadmap; access to MDS's executive leadership team; cross‑functional exposure across marketing, finance, and studios teams; competitive compensation and benefits. What Your Impact Will Be: Strategic Thought Partner: Define and execute MDS's long‑term digital strategy aligned with corporate priorities; serve as a key liaison to senior leadership on digital strategy, growth opportunities, and investment priorities. Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence: Conduct competitive intelligence, market trend analysis, and scenario planning; work with the Strategic Planning team to identify growth areas, emerging business models, and expansion opportunities. Business Strategy and Strategic Planning: Create and refine a multi‑year MDS strategy; develop business cases for investment, partnerships, and acquisitions; partner with Finance, Legal, and Product to structure scalable, financially viable business models. What We're Looking For: BA/BS degree from a top‑tier university 7+ years of total professional experience (5+ with an MBA), including 2+ years post‑MBA or equivalent in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, or in‑house strategy Track record of impact; proven strategic thinking and problem‑solving Ability to work in cross‑functional teams and manage complex stakeholder groups Superior communication skills Prior digital gaming industry experience (listed as a core requirement, not just preferred, on this one) Preferred: MBA or equivalent; Consumer/Tech/Entertainment industry experience #J-18808-Ljbffr Mattel Game Studios
