We are seeking an experienced, organized, and highly motivated Litigation Paralegal to join plaintiff personal injury law firm. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast paced environment, can independently manage a high volume caseload, and has extensive litigation experience from case inception through trial preparation.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Create, organize, maintain, and manage litigation case files.
• Coordinate and manage the firm's daily court calendar.
• Manage attorneys' calendars, appointments, deadlines, and reminders.
• Ensure all court deadlines and filing requirements are met.
• Communicate with clients, courts, insurance companies, medical providers, and opposing counsel.
• Handle a high volume of incoming and outgoing telephone calls and correspondence.
• Electronically file legal documents in New York State and Federal Courts.
• Draft, prepare, process, file, and serve legal documents, including:
• • Summons & Complaint
  • Bills of Particulars
  • Demands & Responses
  • Notices of Appearance
  • Motions
  • Notices of Issue
  • Other litigation documents
• Prepare, process, and respond to discovery demands and discovery responses.
• Assist attorneys with litigation strategy, trial preparation, and case management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of litigation paralegal experience in plaintiff personal injury law.
• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• Paralegal Certificate preferred, but not required.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a significant plus.
• Strong knowledge of New York State and Federal court filing procedures.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
• Self-motivated, dependable, detail oriented, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
