Perks of working as Inventory Specialist: Pay: $26.50 - $28.00 (based on experience) Benefits: Health, Vision, Dental insurance Safe working environment – PPE and continuous training PTO available after 60‑day introductory period 9 paid holidays 401K with company match Schedule: M‑F 7am to 4pm in person at the Brunswick location Typical day in the life as an Inventory Specialist: The Inventory Specialist is responsible for maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy and integrity. They are responsible for tracking inventory movements, conducting regular audits/cycle counts, and using the inventory management system to update data. Perform cycle counts, empty location audits, cooler/freezer audits, RECPO audits and small quantity audits, ISLE, RECP, AROM, packaging, allergen and organic. Assist with investigations of inventory discrepancies and customer complaints. Assist with traceability exercises. Maintain product identification and location program. Assist with planning for future capacity requirements. Work within the guidelines of the food safety program to ensure food products are stored in the proper temperature environment and do not exceed storage limitations, including proper rotation, first in, first out (FIFO). Research inventory discrepancies and reconcile them in a timely manner. Document damaged product using the Damaged Raw Material & Packaging Report. Maintain all necessary documentation for inventory tracking for customers, internal tracking, and vendor recall. Maintain inventory levels of warehouse supplies not tracked in ERP system. Help to identify slow moving/obsolete inventory and non‑inventory items. Communicate regularly and clearly with the Warehouse and Procurement departments. What are we looking for? High school diploma or equivalent required; 5 years of experience in an inventory role preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively with leadership, management, customers and other team members. Ability to apply general concepts such as percentages, addition, subtraction, division and multiplication to practical situations. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, with the flexibility to learn new technology, SAP and ERP systems and document control systems. Current forklift certification preferred. Ability to pass and maintain a forklift certificate is required by OSHA. Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check. #J-18808-Ljbffr
