Kroger Sales and Category Analyst

Abbott's nutrition division seeks a Kroger Sales and Category Analyst in Cincinnati to provide analytical support for the Kroger sales team. The role involves category performance assessment, data-driven insights, and reporting using tools like Nielsen/Circana and Power BI to influence sales strategy and customer decisions.

Responsibilities

Develop sales analysis and insights to advance nutrition business goals and strategy
Provide consumption-based insights for product assortment, pricing, promotion, and profitability management
Track, project, and report shipments and consumption data to support monthly forecasting
Measure and report promotional performance, ROI, and recommend strategy improvements
Create and maintain reporting tools; complete ad hoc analytical requests for internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

Bachelor's degree required
1-2 years experience in sales, finance, or marketing
Consumer-packaged goods industry experience with national retailers essential
Proficiency with Nielsen/Circana, Kroger 84.51 data suite, Power BI, and Excel
Strong oral, written, and presentation communication skills
Ability to plan, organize workflows, and manage multiple priorities
Problem-solving and analytical decision-making capability
