This full-time, in-person contract role spans from August 17, 2026, through May 27, 2027, offering approximately 33.25 hours per week. Qualifications & Experience Current and valid Professional Educator License (PEL) required (please provide a copy upon application) Background in Special Education and classroom experience as a Special Education Teacher Ability to collaborate with general education staff and related service providers Strong classroom management and communication abilities Familiarity with developing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs Resource room experience preferred Key Responsibilities Deliver individualized and small-group instruction for students in the resource setting Develop and adapt lesson plans to meet diverse learning needs Track student progress and regularly update IEPs and documentation in alignment with compliance standards Partner closely with classroom teachers, parents, and support staff to develop and implement effective instructional strategies Maintain a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom environment for all learners Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school activities as required Enjoy a contract position that offers professional development and the chance to truly impact students lives.
