APT | Accredited Physical Therapist

This role primarily focuses on outpatient care (approximately 95%) with occasional inpatient responsibilities during outpatient cancellations or no-shows. Essential Job Functions

• Possess strong knowledge of physical medicine, therapy modalities, anatomy, and physiology.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot physical therapy equipment.
• Provide leadership and direction to certified Physical Therapy Assistants and Aides within the department.
• Evaluate patient conditions and develop individualized rehabilitation and treatment plans to improve strength, flexibility, range of motion, motor control, and alleviate pain, discomfort, and swelling.
• Monitor treatment effectiveness and recommend adjustments to physicians as necessary.
• Conduct thorough assessments and reassessments for patients across all age groups, including neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, geriatrics, and the general population.
• Identify pain levels that interfere with rehabilitation progress and coordinate with physicians for appropriate interventions.

Education, Experience, and Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program or college/university with a Physical Therapy certificate.
• Current valid State Physical Therapy License required.
• Clinical internships in both outpatient and inpatient settings completed during physical therapy education.
• Preferred: One or more years of experience in comprehensive physical therapy practice.

Starting salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience, with annual incremental increases.
