Sales Representative

Facility / Business Supplies and/or Distribution Industry Experience Required

OBJECTIVE

The GoodEarth Distribution Sales Representative will drive revenue growth by cultivating strong client relationships and expanding sales. Your primary objectives will include taking a robust daily flow of new customer orders and leads that we generate through different channels and converting those to larger and ongoing clients. You'll do this by growing their engagement with our e-commerce platforms, establishing and nurturing relationships with clients' buyers, and making them continuously aware of our unique value proposition, including our substantial (and growing) product assortment. Success in this role requires proactive pipeline development, effective client management, and a results-driven approach to closing new business opportunities; you will be evaluated and rewarded based on your ability to meet/exceed the prescribed sales target. You will also play a critical role in advancing GoodEarth's mission of delivering exceptional service and innovative solutions to our clients.

This position reports to the SVP of Sales.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Client Relationship Management

· Cultivate and grow relationships with new clients to maximize engagement with our e-commerce platforms and establish a growing and ongoing flow of business supply orders.

· Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring high satisfaction and identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services.

· Develop and maintain a deep understanding of client needs, market trends, and competitive landscapes.

· Monitor and analyze sales performance to identify opportunities for optimization and growth.

Business Development

· Proactively identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting through existing customers and lead generation sources.

· Build a robust sales pipeline by researching and targeting potential clients in line with the company's strategic objectives.

· Present and demonstrate the value of GoodEarth's products and services to prospective clients.

· Negotiate purchase agreements, handle objections, and close deals to achieve and exceed individual and team sales quotas.

· Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and operations, to ensure seamless onboarding of new clients.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor's Degree preferred

· Business Supply, including Janitorial and Cleaning, or Office Products sales experience required

· Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience

· Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

· Strong ability to build and maintain client relationships

· Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

· Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and highly organized
