Pricing Analyst @ Law Firm

Coda Search is partnering with a top global law firm headquartered in New York, NY. This is a dynamic firm that has seen exponential growth over the last few years. The finance team is seeking a Pricing Analyst to support strategic pricing initiatives, client negotiations, and firmwide profitability efforts. This role will collaborate closely with attorneys, finance leadership, and business development to drive data-driven pricing strategies and enhance client value. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with partners, finance, and business development to design and evaluate competitive pricing proposals for both new and existing clients. Build dynamic financial models to analyze profitability, rate structures, and alternative fee arrangements (AFAs). Track and report client-matter budgets, providing variance analyses, margin insights, and recommendations to improve financial performance. Evaluate firmwide rate strategies, discounts, and realization metrics to identify revenue optimization opportunities. Develop and maintain pricing dashboards, tools, and reports to support leadership decision-making and business planning. Support the continuous improvement of pricing processes, profitability reporting, and client value initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related discipline. Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial analysis, pricing, or profitability management—ideally within a law firm or other professional services environment. Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools is a plus.
