Outpatient Physical TherapistThe Outpatient Physical Therapist evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction. This role is responsible for the delegation and direction of all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring the design of functional treatment programs that allow for effective return to community activities. As an educator, the therapist serves patients, families, students, coworkers, and themselves while upholding the values and standards of the organization.ResponsibilitiesComplete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop appropriate treatment plans focused on patient progress towards discharge.Document patient care in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner, including assessments and charge entries.Ensure care is provided under valid physician orders and within insurance guidelines.Participate in student programs, providing supervision and mentorship.Create and implement a professional development plan, actively seeking ongoing education and professional growth opportunities.Adhere to the discipline-specific State Practice Act and maintain professional licensure in good standing.Engage in performance improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of services provided.Required Experience / Certifications / LicensureDegree in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of outpatient clinical experience.Current CPR certification.Active and applicable state licensure for the practice of physical therapy.ScheduleThis position operates on a 5x8.0 schedule, with start dates available from October 19th.Assignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.Why ARMStaffing?At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
