Get to Know Your Team Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service, acute‑care community hospital with a new emergency department, a state‑of‑the‑art maternity center, a women’s imaging center, and an ICU. Responsibilities The Patient Care Tech works alongside doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide direct patient care in a variety of healthcare environments. The Patient Care Technician plays a vital role in the healthcare delivery setting, often having more patient contact than any other team member, including doctors and nurses. Qualifications Job Requirements: 1+ years of patient care experience. BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care. Preferred Job Requirements: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Hospital experience.
