CNC Operator

Benefits: Paid time off Training & development About the Role: Alanson Manufacturing Company is looking for a skilled CNC Operator to join our team in Chicago, IL! Responsibilities: Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines to produce precision parts per specifications Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD/CAM files Perform in-process quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges Load and unload raw materials and finished parts from CNC equipment Adjust machine offsets, feeds, and speeds to maintain tight tolerances Perform routine machine maintenance and identify mechanical issues Document production output and maintain accurate shop floor records Requirements: 1+ years of CNC machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment Proficiency with CNC mills, lathes, or multi-axis machining centers Ability to read blueprints, GD&T, and engineering drawings Experience with precision measuring instruments and quality control processes Familiarity with G-code and M-code programming is a plus Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a shop floor environment Ability to lift up to 50 pounds About Us: Alanson Manufacturing Company has built a strong reputation in the Chicago area as a trusted provider of high-quality precision manufactured components.
