Locum CRNA (Nurse Anesthetist) Anesthesiology

Description This on-site, contract position presents a unique opportunity for skilled professionals in the medical practice industry to provide high-quality anesthesiology services in a supportive environment. As a Locum CRNA, you will play a critical role in delivering anesthesia care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of patient safety and comfort. Responsibilities Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures Monitor patients' vital signs and anesthetic levels during surgery Collaborate with surgeons and other medical staff to ensure optimal patient care Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and prepare patients for anesthesia Manage anesthesia-related emergencies and complications Provide post-anesthesia care and assess recovery progress Maintain accurate and detailed patient records Stay updated on best practices and advances in anesthesia technology Requirements Active CRNA certification and state licensure Associate degree in Nursing or a related field Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting Strong knowledge of anesthesia techniques and medications Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety Ability to handle high-stress situations with professionalism Level I Trauma Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week No call requirement Patient Volume: ~10 per shift Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses #J-18808-Ljbffr 77 consultants
