Learn More About ProSidian Consulting at DescriptionProSidian Consulting seeks a FOIA Subject Matter Expert to support and participate in a project supporting government agency focusing on Financial Crimes. The FOIA Subject Matter Expert plays an integral role by effectively participating in day to day operations and by offering quality service and excellence in the administration provided for the government agency focusing on Financial Crimes. Project Location: Project Location: CONUS with specific emphasis on Consulting & Strategic Resourcing in Vienna, VAThe selected candidate should either hold or be able to attain a Secret Clearance WHICH WOULD BE FACILITATED BY ProSidian consultingThe duties of this position include performing a broad range of advance skills and expertise in the Federal sector: responsibilities may include but are not limited to: an intimate understanding of the regulations surrounding FOIA and the ability to assist in validating requests made. This Office (government agency focusing on Financial Crimes) is responsible for the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to the Financial Services Management of the Department. The Financial Services Management (FSM) is responsible for providing leadership, guidance and expertise in all areas related to management of the Department's Financial Services, including analyzing information about financial transactions in order to combat domestic and international money laundering, terrorist financing, and other financial crimes.Job duties are as follows:Assist the FinCEN FOIA personnel in the processing of FOIA requests under the provisions of theFreedom of Information Act (5 USC 552), the Privacy Act (5 USA 522a), and other laws andRegulations that impact records management, including the Ethics and Government Act of 1987 (2USC 701), and Presidential Records Act (44 USC 2201), the Federal Records Management Act (44USC 2901), and the President’s Executive Order 12958 on Classification and Declassification, theGovernment Performance and Results Act (GPRA). Help assess the validity of requests.
