Gynecology Physician Assistant (PA-C) - Full-Time

Position Overview

NYMD Center is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Gynecology Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our growing women's health team. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in gynecology and will work closely in tandem with the supervising physician to provide comprehensive care for patients.

This role requires a team-oriented provider who is comfortable managing their own patient schedule while also supporting the supervising physician with patient care, laboratory result management, follow-ups, procedures, and clinical coordination.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive gynecologic evaluations and follow-up visits.

• Obtain medical histories and perform physical and gynecological examinations.

• Diagnose and manage common gynecologic conditions.

• Order, interpret, and review laboratory tests, imaging studies, and diagnostic procedures.

• Develop and implement treatment plans under physician supervision.

• Perform office-based procedures within scope of practice and training.

• Provide patient education regarding preventive care, contraception, menopause, sexually transmitted infections, and other women's health concerns.

• Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in the EMR.

• Manage and review laboratory results and diagnostic reports for both your own patients and assist the supervising physician with result management and follow-up.

• Coordinate patient care, referrals, consultations, and follow-up appointments.

• Assist the supervising physician with clinical workflow, patient management, and care coordination to ensure timely patient care.

• Respond to patient messages, prescription refill requests, and clinical inquiries.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with clinical protocols.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.

• Current New York State Physician Assistant license.

• NCCPA certification required.

• Minimum of 2 years of gynecology or women's health experience required.

• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.

• Experience with EMR systems.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nursing staff, and administrative personnel.

Schedule

• Full-Time

• Monday - Friday

Compensation Information:
$145000.00 / Annually - $160000.00 / Annually
