Legal Support Coordinator

LHH is recruiting a Legal Support Coordinator for a downtown law firm. The Legal Support Coordinator supervises and coordinates the daily workflow of legal administrative assistants in support of the transactional practice groups including corporate, M&A, Tax and Real Estate.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate the daily workflow for transactional legal administrative assistants, including monitoring the Attorney Support Portal to ensure work is assigned and completed timely and efficiently.
• Review administrative processes and procedures, identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations.
• Establish and maintain harmonious working relationships and foster an atmosphere of teamwork and cooperation.
• Monitor and coordinate resource materials in Teams to provide the most up-to-date information for the administrative team.
• Conduct effective performance evaluations; share knowledge, mentor and provide guidance to team members.
• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and training new team members.
• Maintain employees' timecards, time off requests, and remote work requests.
• Assist attorneys with preparation of legal documents and general correspondence in an accurate and timely manner. Extensive editing, proofreading, and redlining of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and corporate filings.
• Coordinate, assemble, and organize closing materials, including closing binders. • Draft standard correspondence and format documents.
• Coordinate and manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and make travel arrangements.
• Enter time entries for attorneys accurately and efficiently into the firm's timekeeping system.
• Maintain paper and electronic client and administrative files in accordance with firm procedures and the document management system. •
Attention to other administrative tasks including conflict checks, new client/matter intake process, client bills, mail, and expense and reimbursement requests.
Qualifications:
• High School diploma required.
• Minimum 5 years of corporate/transactional legal administrative assistant experience.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of legal documents, formatting, table of contents, styles, and track changes.
• Ability to manage workflow and delegate assignments and projects
