Bus Monitor
Ride buses and help driver ensure safe and orderly transportation of students with disabilities. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, ability to understand and follow instructions, effective communication skills, and experience in operating safety equipment. Responsibilities include assisting students on and off the bus, supervising students, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and managing student behavior. The position requires frequent standing, sitting, kneeling, bending, pushing, pulling, walking, and heavy lifting. The work environment includes exposure to sun, heat, cold, inclement weather, noise, vehicle fumes, and biological hazards.
