Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or Education, active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification, and a minimum 1+ years BCBA experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) working on a contract basis in a supportive school environment conveniently situated near Des Plaines, IL. This part-time opportunity runs from August 27, 2026, through June 11, 2027, offering you a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, totaling 20 hours per week.
You’ll work with a varied K-12 caseload, focusing on supporting students with autism and other disabilities. Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop effective behavioral strategies and intervention plans tailored to each student’s needs.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree and active BCBA certification required
- Current Illinois licensure for behavior analysts
- Experience supporting children and students with disabilities, particularly those with autism
- Previous BCBA experience in a school setting strongly preferred
- Proven ability to collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary educational team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct behavioral assessments and develop individualized intervention plans
- Provide ongoing support and coaching to teachers and paraprofessionals
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Facilitate team meetings and communicate effectively with parents and school staff
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all regulations
