Air Logistics Customer Care Specialist

As an Air Logistics Customer Care Specialist, you will be the main contact for customers, ensuring smooth shipment handling and a great customer experience. You will manage customer needs, coordinate shipments, and work closely with Sales and Operations to support strong partnerships and business growth.

How You Create Impact

• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned customers.
• Manage customer inquiries and provide timely shipment updates.
• Monitor shipment progress and proactively manage exceptions and escalations.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, overseas offices, and service providers to ensure service delivery.
• Prepare and manage spot quotations for import and export air freight shipments.
• Support customer SOP implementation and compliance with agreed service requirements.
• Conduct customer visits and business reviews to strengthen customer relationships and understand business needs.
• Identify potential opportunities and collaborate with Sales teams to support customer growth and retention.
• Work closely with Air Logistics and Sea Logistics teams to deliver integrated solutions where required.
• Maintain accurate customer and shipment information within company systems.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

What We Would Like You To Bring

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Air Freight Forwarding, Customer Management, or Freight Operations.
• Good understanding of Air Import and Export processes.
• Experience managing customer communication and shipment coordination.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage operational issues and customer escalations.
• Commercial mindset with an interest in supporting customer growth opportunities.
• Knowledge of the Batam logistics market would be an advantage.
• Experience supporting global customers is preferred.
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
• Professional English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
