Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for laboring patients in Labor & Delivery, postpartum, and newborn nursery units.
• Monitor maternal and fetal status, administer medications as prescribed, and assist with labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
• Collaborate with obstetric and pediatric teams to coordinate admissions, progress notes, and discharge planning.
• Perform newborn care tasks as appropriate and support family education and up-to-date newborn care practices.
• Maintain documentation in the clinical record system and ensure accurate charting; scrub on procedures when requested.

Requirements

• Active Washington state RN license; multi-state licenses are accepted with verifications, including approved 6-hour suicide training and demographics verification from Nursys.
• BLS and NRP certifications required; STABLE training preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of Labor & Delivery, Post Partum, and Nursery units; ability to scrub is a bonus but not required.
• Minimum requirement to work a 36-hour week across 3x12-hour night shifts.
• RTO (time off) requests must be approved and added to the end of the contract.
