We look forward to hearing from you!**Position Summary:**The Receiving Associate is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and processing incoming shipments to ensure materials and products are accurately received, documented, and stored. This position plays a critical role in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting production and operational requirements.**Position Responsibilities:*** Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.* Routes items to departments.* Keeps records on incoming shipments and returns.* Operate forklift or use hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area.* May direct others in receiving incoming shipments.**Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:*** Proficiency in Microsoft office applications* Forklift Experience**Position Qualifications:****Education:**HS diploma or equivalent required**Experience:**No experience required, but 1+ years of warehouse experience preferred.**Work Environment and Physical Requirements:**Manufacturing EnvironmentLift up to 50 lbs. regularlyRequires walking, standing, bending and lifting for long periods of timeVision abilities required to validate and enter data on computer***Disclaimer****: This list does not represent all physical demands.
