Job Title: Quality Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on, dedicated, and experienced Day Shift Quality Supervisor responsible for overseeing all quality functions while managing a team of two quality technicians and a metrologist. Your expertise in CMM and vision system programming will be essential, as will your ability to work with production, communicate with vendors, have tough conversations, and hold team members accountable to maintaining the highest standards of quality.

• Supervise and coordinate all quality assurance activities.
• Lead a team of quality technicians and a metrologist to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Expertly program and operate CMM and vision systems.
• Communicate regularly with vendors.
• Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the quality department.

• 2+ years Quality Lead, Supervision, or Management Experience.
• 5+ years Quality Experience with tools like calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
• Ability to program and operate CMMs.
• Strong communication skills with vendors.
• Proficiency in reading/writing English and using Microsoft Office Software.

• Experience programming Phoenix CMMs and Keyence Vision Systems.
• Experience working with .0001 tolerances.
• Background in injection molding, machine shop, or automotive industries with tighter tolerances.

Work in a small, clean, and quiet facility with a family-like culture. The role operates on the 1st shift from 7am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, with a hard set schedule requiring the use of unpaid or PTO to cover any time missed during these hours. You will never be forced to work overtime.

This is a Permanent position based out of Middlebury, IN.

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $68640.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
