Territory Manager

Position Purpose The Territory Manager at SRS Building Products drives sales growth and strengthens customer relationships within a defined territory, maximizing revenue opportunities with existing customers and creating opportunities with new customers. By collaborating with internal teams and acting as a trusted partner, the manager ensures customer satisfaction and delivers measurable results in a multi‑million‑dollar territory. Key Responsibilities Lead territory sales strategies to exceed revenue targets through proactive client engagement and team leadership. Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring seamless service and satisfaction. Expand customer base via cold calls, networking, and targeted outreach. Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to refine strategies and identify growth opportunities. Partner with internal teams to deliver integrated, customer‑focused solutions. Conduct business reviews and analyze data to optimize sales efforts. Represent the company at trade shows and industry events. Drive adoption of digital resources to improve efficiency and sales effectiveness. Direct Manager and Reporting Works in partnership with the Regional Sales Manager and the Branch Manager to strategically drive sales performance and align with company goals. Provides indirect leadership to a team of sales representatives within the territory. Travel & Physical Requirements Significant travel (up to 50%) within the assigned territory. Must be comfortable driving a personal vehicle for local travel and capable of lifting up to 15 pounds. Ability to remain seated at a desk and operate a computer for extended periods. Provides reasonable accommodations under the ADA. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of sales or sales management experience, with at least one year of proven success in B2B sales and a minimum of five years in roofing or building products territory management. Proven track record of managing a multi‑million‑dollar territory and exceeding revenue targets. Strong relationship‑building, communication, and customer‑focus skills. Consultative sales skills with ability to anticipate client needs and spot market trends. Experience with CRM systems and digital sales tools. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (Master’s preferred). Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Ability to work in a hybrid office, remote, and frequent travel environment. Job Location SRS Building Products – Rapid City, SD 57701.
