Floor & Tile Installation Apprentice/HelperDescriptionWe are seeking Laborer/Apprentice who will be responsible for doing all types of activities on the job site.Experience is not necessary. Experience as a tile-setter or in general construction is preferred.Responsibilities* Moves tiles, tile setting tools and work devices from storage area to installation site manually or using wheelbarrow* Measure and cut material according to specifications, cut tiles to proper shape and size* Supply mixed materials for Tile Setter; may assist Tile Setter to position secure metal lath, wire mesh, or felt paper prior to installation of tile* Apply tile to ceilings and walls of buildings, including homes and businesses; apply grout between joints of installed tile using grouting trowel* Apply cement to walls, floors, and ceilings, set tile in place and push into cement* Smooth and finish concrete mix* Clean off residue and remove damaged or destroyed tiles* Clean installation site, mixing and storage areas, and installation machines, tools and equipmentQualificationsSome activities of apprentices and helpers. • Able to lift minimum of 50 pounds • Excellent verbal communication skills • Ability to work in all weather conditions • Follow and maintain a safe work environment • Maintain a clean, professional appearance • Must be able to climb and work from ladders • Ability to complete work on time • Must not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol. • Reliable Transportation capable of carrying tools and supplies to jobs. • Must have valid drivers license • Willing to work in San Antonio and surrounding areas.Please take notice: Cell phone use is not permitted during work hours unless it is an emergency or during your breaks/lunch.ContactsTexas Flooring ServicesHuman Resources View email address on click.appcast.io Ext 804Hiring organizationEmployment TypeFull-time, Part-time, ContractorJob LocationVaries, San Antonio, Texas, 78253Base Salary€10-€15 *Per hour* #J-18808-Ljbffr Texasfloorings
