Senior Power Electronics EngineerLocation: Syracuse, NY - OnsiteEducation: BS / MS in Electrical / Electronics with 8 years experienceResponsibilities:- Work with equipment / software / electronic hardware / validation/reliability and manufacturing fields- Design and implement electrical/mechanical systems for container refrigeration- Create, refine and clarify with internal and external customers- Experience in new product design of components and assemblies for manufacturing- Power electronics knowledge, inverter / converter / VFD- Knowledge of SiC FET / GaN FET- Experience with power distribution and conversion of circuitry and wiring, experience with battery system / transformers / inverters / contactors- High voltage / wattage test and integration- VFD integration, filters and VFD trouble shoot and debug- Proficient in electromechanical design- Experience in electrical schematics and basic electrical analyses, power consumption and with wiring / connectors / harnessPreferred:- Experience in power supplies / batteries / power converters- Controller I/O understanding/experience- With HVAC systems- Experience in new product design and qualification- Proficient in modern experimental methods
