The Housekeeping Utility Porter plays a vital role in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment that enhances every guest’s experience. Responsibilities Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company’s guest service culture. Maintain cleanliness of hotel and casino interiors, including elevators, corridors, and common areas by sweeping, vacuuming, polishing, mopping, stripping, and buffing floors. Remove linen from chutes and replace hampers; empty and clean indoor trash receptacles and dispose of trash properly. Remove dust and stains from high areas and clean bio-hazardous items in accordance with OSHA standards and company guidelines. Clean, store, and maintain equipment such as extractors, buffers, and vacuums, reporting malfunctions promptly. Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position. Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications At least 3 months of experience in a similar role or training in public area cleaning preferred. Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment. Ability to use basic mathematics. Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team. Committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and safety-conscious work environment. Requirements At least 18 years of age. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal. Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company. Verify right to work in the United States. Work Cards: None. Physical Requirements Frequently push/pull up to 70 lbs. Frequently lift and/or carry up to 70 lbs at floor, knee, waist, and chest levels. Regularly squat, kneel, reach, bend, twist. Occasionally sit and work at a desk or computer. Frequently standing and walking. Ability to communicate using in-person speech, radios, and telephone. Ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sound in person. Ability to distinguish between shades of color. Ability to use tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity. Ability to ascend and descend stairs. Work Environment Indoor and outdoor conditions. Smoky, noisy, extreme hot or cold temperatures. Slippery surfaces. Exposure to dust, fumes, and/or gases.
