Description - Your Mission

• Carry out routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests-including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and various specialty assays-according to established lab protocols.
• Evaluate test results for accuracy, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and oversee the preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Assist in the collection of specimens and ensure samples are appropriately prepared for testing.
• Thoroughly document all laboratory procedures, mentor new personnel or students, and contribute to maintaining laboratory quality standards.
• Uphold a clean, safe work environment while complying with all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an allied health field, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Hold a current ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) obtained within your first year of employment.
• Ensure you maintain your certification throughout your tenure.
