Administrative Role Supporting Guest Experience and Connections Ministry

Help support a fantastic 'One at a Time' guest experience from street to seat. This Administrative role supports the Guest Experience and Connections Ministry by leading operationally behind-the-scenes to keep ministries organized, efficient, and running smoothly. The operational oversight of this role includes onboarding volunteers and other logistical processes. This is a part-time role with the expectation of 25 hours a week.

• Capable of easily learning new computer concepts.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Help ensure the sanctuary and atrium is prepared by volunteers for weekend services.
• Order supplies, perishables, print shop, and resources.
• Initiate communication with potential volunteers and manage the volunteer clearance process.
• Schedule the coverage of volunteers on a weekly basis for weekend services for Guest Experience and Connections Ministry.
• Learn and use the church database to complete operational workflows.
• Attend and participate in all appropriate staff and team meetings.
• Support Connections Ministry with weekly tasks: Connections Cards and Workflows.
• Ensure coordination/ planning for optimal success of Guest Experience and Connections Ministry special events and regular programming.

Our Requirements:

• Strong work ethic and a team player who interacts well with staff, members, and guests.
• Currently resides in Nelson County.
• Engaged member of Southeast Christian Church, or willing to become one.
• Exemplifies our seven staff values: Honor, Care, Accountability, Grit, Authenticity, Humility, and Fun.
• Leads by example fulfilling the staff expectations of groups, inviting, serving, worship and giving.
