Senior Product Manager

Location: San Jose, CA (Open to exceptional candidates outside the area) Position Summary We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, and execution of next-generation networking and security solutions designed for large-scale service provider environments. This role is responsible for defining product vision, driving roadmap execution, and partnering cross-functionally with Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Executive Leadership to deliver innovative, cloud-native networking products. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience within the telecommunications or service provider industry and possesses deep technical knowledge of networking, routing, cloud-native infrastructure, and security technologies. Success in this role requires a strategic mindset, strong business acumen, and the ability to translate customer needs and market trends into scalable product solutions. Key Responsibilities Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for carrier-grade networking and security solutions. Own the complete product lifecycle from concept and requirements gathering through launch, adoption, and end-of-life. Collaborate with engineering teams to prioritize features, define technical requirements, and deliver high-impact products. Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer engagement to identify product opportunities and drive innovation. Partner with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Executive Leadership to ensure successful product positioning and adoption. Present product strategy, roadmap updates, and business cases to both technical and executive audiences. Analyze product performance, customer feedback, and market trends to continuously improve product offerings. Drive product planning, forecasting, budgeting, and financial performance with a strong P&L mindset. Influence cross-functional teams while helping establish best practices across the product management organization. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (MBA preferred). 15+ years of experience within networking, telecommunications, cloud infrastructure, security, or service provider technologies. 5+ years of Product Management experience leading complex technical products. Experience supporting or developing products for large telecommunications providers or network service providers. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver products from strategy through execution. Technical Expertise Strong experience with several of the following technologies is required: Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies BGP, ECMP, and BFD Routing, tunneling, NAT, and MPLS Carrier-grade networking architectures Firewalls, DDoS protection, IDS/IPS, CGNAT, and IPsec URL Filtering and Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) DNS Caching, Global Server Load Balancing (GSLB), and traffic optimization technologies AI-enabled networking or security products and modern AI tools supporting networking workflows Preferred Background Candidates with experience working for large telecommunications providers or networking vendors are highly encouraged to apply.
