IT Support Technician

Job Title: IT Support Technician Location: Indianapolis, IN (100% Onsite) Employment Type: W2 Contract Experience Required: 0-3 Years Job Summary We are seeking an IT Support Technician to provide hands-on technical support for end users across multiple Indianapolis locations. This role serves as the primary point of contact for hardware, software, operating systems, enterprise applications, onboarding support, and end-user technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, experience supporting Windows and Mac environments, and a passion for delivering an exceptional digital user experience. Key Responsibilities Provide onsite technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, and enterprise applications. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and connectivity issues. Support Windows, macOS, and iOS environments. Assist with new hire onboarding, device setup, and technology orientation. Perform device maintenance, security patching, driver updates, and software upgrades. Proactively identify and remediate potential hardware and software issues. Support Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Partner with infrastructure and support teams to resolve technical issues. Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and support. Assist users with adoption of new technologies, services, and IT initiatives. Ensure devices comply with company security and compliance standards. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. 0-3 years of IT Support, Help Desk, Desktop Support, or Technical Support experience. Previous customer service experience. Basic knowledge of Windows, macOS, and iOS operating systems. Understanding of computer hardware, software, networking, internet security, and data privacy principles. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications CompTIA A+ Certification. Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) Certification. Microsoft 365 Fundamentals Certification. Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) or similar IT certifications. Experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications and collaboration tools. Experience with endpoint device management and security compliance.
