Responsibilities:
Supply Chain Leadership
- Lead planning, procurement, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, and supplier performance activities.
- Develop supply chain strategies aligned with company growth and operational objectives.
- Ensure material availability supports production schedules and customer delivery requirements.
- Improve forecasting, planning, scheduling, and replenishment processes.
- Identify supply risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Establish KPIs and dashboards to measure supply chain performance.
Material Management & Inventory Control
- Lead material planning, inventory control, receiving, warehousing, and material flow activities.
- Establish inventory targets, safety stock levels, and planning parameters.
- Improve inventory accuracy and reduce excess and obsolete inventory.
- Monitor inventory turns, shortages, and inventory performance metrics.
- Cycle Counting
Procurement & Supplier Management
- Lead purchasing and strategic sourcing activities for direct and indirect materials.
- Negotiate supplier agreements, pricing, lead times, and commercial terms.
- Establish supplier scorecards and conduct regular supplier reviews.
- Develop alternate sourcing strategies to reduce supply chain risk.
- Drive supplier cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives.
Quality Management
- Lead and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Manage inspection and testing activities to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Ensure products and processes meet customer, regulatory, and internal requirements.
- Lead corrective and preventive action programs.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor quality metrics, including defects, scrap, rework, customer complaints, and corrective action effectiveness.
- Support customer, internal, supplier, and certification audits.
- Promote a culture of quality throughout the organization.
Leadership & Continuous Improvement
- Lead, coach, develop, and evaluate Supply Chain and Quality team members.
- Establish performance goals and accountability standards.
- Develop and maintain standardized processes and procedures.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage departmental budgets and resources.
- Provide leadership with regular reporting on supplier performance, inventory, quality metrics, and business risks.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, Business Administration, Quality Management, or related field preferred.
- 8-10+ years of progressive manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, materials, quality, or operations experience.
- 3-5+ years of leadership or management experience.
- Experience managing suppliers, purchasing, inventory, planning, and quality systems.
- Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS), quality assurance, auditing, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience utilizing ERP/MRP systems and data-driven performance management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in an engineered product or industrial manufacturing environment.
- ISO 9001 experience.
- APICS/ASCM, CPSM, CPM, Lean, Six Sigma, or related certifications.
- Proven success by reducing inventory, improving supplier performance, reducing costs, and improving quality outcomes.
Position Requirements:
- Ability to work in office, warehouse, and manufacturing environments.
- Ability to walk production areas and supplier locations as needed.
- Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Occasional travel to suppliers, customers, and company locations.
- Ability to sit, stand, and use computer systems for extended periods

Pay Transparency:
We are committed to pay transparency and equitable compensation practices. The compensation range for this position is $140,000.00 to $170,000.00 per year, depending on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location. In addition to base compensation, this role includes a comprehensive benefits package, which may include health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other benefits.
