Qualifications

• CNA license required
• HS Diploma or Equivalent required
• Previous experience in patient/resident care in a nursing center, hospital or rehabilitation center preferred

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist therapists with clerical, patient, client, team, and member-related duties
• Participate in department and facility meetings as assigned
• Perform clerical and computerized tasks, including answering/directing calls and maintaining filing systems
• Assist with treatment and prepare/transport patients to and from treatment areas as directed
• Coordinate activities with rehabilitation staff and other departments
• Maintain a positive, team-oriented approach with patients, clients, and staff
• Provide support to visitors, patients, clients, and team members
• Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies and report unusual incidents to the DOR
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness, supplies, and equipment within treatment areas and the department
• Participate in facility performance improvement programs
• Maintain consistent attendance and provide proper notice for scheduled absences
• Perform other duties as assigned
