Shipping Coordinator
Pay Rate: $22.54/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
Overtime: Occasional overtime may be required from 3:00 PM–7:00 PM to provide coverage during scheduled vacations. Any overtime needs will be communicated in advance and scheduled for specific time periods.
Job Overview:
QuickPro Staffing is seeking a reliable Shipping Coordinator to support daily shipping operations. This position is responsible for processing orders, preparing shipping documentation, coordinating truck activity, and communicating with shipping personnel to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Primary Responsibilities:
Process customer orders and shipping requests
Print and organize shipping paperwork
Attach Bills of Lading (BOLs) to pick plans and distribute documents to shipping operators
Collect and maintain receipts and shipping documentation
Communicate with security personnel and truck drivers as needed
Assist with truck staging and coordinating trailer movement
Communicate directly with forklift operators using radio equipment
Maintain accurate traffic and shipping logs
Support overall warehouse and shipping operations
Requirements:
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to communicate effectively with multiple teams
Comfortable working in a fast-paced shipping environment
Ability to use basic computer systems and shipping documentation
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
