Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-risk obstetric care, including the administration of magnesium and insulin drips.
• Perform circulatory and scrub roles during labor and delivery procedures.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation in EMR systems, including CPN and Meditech.
• Manage patient ratios effectively (typically 2:1 in high-risk situations).
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, responsive patient care.
• Fulfill on-call and floating requirements as needed within the women's health area.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience in high-risk obstetric labor and delivery.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications required.
• Proficiency in intermediate fetal monitoring techniques.
• Experience in high-risk, high-volume obstetric environments preferred.
• Experience in obstetric emergency departments (OBED) is preferred.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to thrive in a busy environment.
