Employment Context This job posting is for a position in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee and not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee is a separate company and employer from McDonald’s USA. Employment matters such as hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling are handled solely by the franchisee. McDonald’s USA has no control over, nor receives copies of, employment applications or decisions. Position Overview Shift Manager. Starting wage: $15 per hour, up to $18 per hour after training is complete. Responsibilities Lead shifts each week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience. Provide leadership to crew and other managers during shifts to maintain quality, service, and cleanliness. Plan for each shift, monitor performance during the shift, and take action to meet McDonald’s standards. Monitor safety, security, and profitability; communicate with the next Shift Manager to facilitate smooth transitions. Help assigned departments meet their goals and ensure target achievement during shifts. Qualifications Must be 18 years or older.
