Production Assembler - 2nd Shift

Locations 8109 Lawndale Ave., Skokie, IL, 60076, US (On-site) Job Schedule Full time Export-Controlled Data This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items Responsibilities ' Safely perform a variety of assembly operations, complying with all environmental, health and safety policies and procedures

• Operate a variety of manufacturing equipment following established Standard Operating Procedures
• Assist with line set ups, start up and maintaining a clean and orderly work area
• Maintain quality standards as described in the quality system by visually inspect parts, components and subassemblies
• Recognize and solve minor problems that arise
• Perform any necessary material handling requirements of the job
• Perform other duties that may be assigned

Qualifications 'Ability to perform basic math ' add, subtract, multiply whole numbers, fractions and decimals

• Strong orientation toward quality, safety and continuous improvement
• Strong attention to detail
• Desire to learn new skills and improve technical knowledge
• Ability to read and understand procedure, routers and instruction
• Flexibility in work assignments
• Demonstrated ability to effectively implement or respond to change
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred but not required

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to continuously perform grasping, reaching, pushing, pulling, and walking
• Must be able to handle continuous standing 8-10 hours daily
• Must be able to perform frequent lifting up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to work daily, weekly overtime and weekend as required
