Pacific Northern Academy is a private school located in South Anchorage. We are a Preschool – 8th grade school with around 140 students. PNA is expanding to an Admissions Team model to support their growing enrollment. This new position will focus on student admissions to PNA, working with families at all stages of the admissions pipeline, from initial inquiry to application review. Developing relationships with families is the focus. The admissions office is focused on attracting and interesting families who are looking for quality education for their children. The AC will coordinate the completion of the application review process, including communicating clear directions, answering questions, setting appointments, and maintaining timely, accurate, and thorough records in our CRM system, Veracross. Other duties will include management of waitlists, email drip campaigns, and management of the admissions events calendar. The AC will also assist with the organization and delivery of admissions events throughout the Open Enrollment season, from December through August of each year. This position will report to the Enrollment Director, providing timely and accurate reporting of the Admissions Pipeline and other reporting as necessary. The AC will work closely with the Enrollment Director and leadership team to implement the annual admissions strategy and achieve the annual enrollment target. The ED will provide guidance, help prioritize work, and complete the sales cycle through enrollment of new students. To excel in this position, you should love talking to people about their children, have an understanding of independent schools and education programs, and have a keen interest to learn and grow in this position and beyond. Strong time management skills Able to work independently, yet flexible to work within a small administrative team Willing to ask for help Have superior oral and written communication skills Have a high degree of integrity Have a thirst to learn and contribute to this small but mighty team Technically capable. Have experience using sales tools or other business systems to manage procedures and data. Have experience using the Google suite of business applications. Experience using integrated calendars. A passion for quality education and matching families aligned with PNA’s mission and goals. Requirements: Undergrad degree preferred, with an emphasis in communications, sales, marketing, or a related field. Or +2 years of work experience in a related field. Demonstrated advanced written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to manage calendars, use technology to manage workflow, follow procedures, communicate and keep data up to date. Three references Full background check First Aid/CPR training (PNA will provide this training) Willing and able to work outside of regular hours for pre-planned admissions events, including up to 5 evenings and 3 weekend events each calendar year. Preferred: Experience with independent schools, as a student, parent, or staff member Experience working with or around school-aged children Public-facing communications role Experience using the Veracross Student Information System. Taking inbound calls from prospects or applicants Experience in the following programs: Google Suite, Integrated calendars, CRM software, Student Information Systems (Veracross), video chat, and screen-sharing tools (Zoom) #J-18808-Ljbffr
