About the Role
The Company is in search of a Head of Social Marketing to take the lead in curating and enhancing its social media presence across various platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for real-time gameday content, category education through engaging and visual content, and building a vibrant community of traders, sports fans, and handicappers. This role demands a native internet citizen with a deep understanding of sports culture, capable of translating the chaos of live sports into viral and entertaining content. The Head of Social Marketing will also be tasked with developing a distinct and witty brand voice that resonates with the target audience and drives organic growth. Applicants for the Head of Social Marketing position at the company should have 4-7 years of experience in managing social media for a major sports media brand, sportsbook/DFS operator, or crypto platform. A strong sports IQ and proficiency in internet culture, particularly in the context of sports, are essential. The role requires the ability to create and post high-quality, real-time content, including memes, graphics, and market updates, across multiple social media channels. Basic design and video editing skills are also necessary. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of generating organic growth and engagement, with a portfolio that demonstrates their ability to create viral content and a deep understanding of the sports and cultural nuances across various leagues.
