New Pathology Locums Job l Oregon Our client in Salem, Oregon is ideally searching for a candidate that can provide full time coverage, but willing to accept candidates with two weeks per month availability. Job Requirements for Assignment Oregon licensed required Board Certified AP/CP Pathology with subspeciality training in Cytology required Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM, no call Workload ranges from 100-150 slides per day The surgical pathology practice is heavily oncology-focused, supported by an affiliated cancer center. Breast pathology is most prevalent followed by Gastrointestinal and GYN. They also manage a significant number of complex resection specimens across multiple service lines. Additional areas of volume and expertise include: Urologic Pathology: Smaller numbers of prostatectomies, with a high volume of prostate core biopsies. Renal Pathology: A consistent flow of nephrectomy specimens. Thoracic Pathology: An active lung cancer service that generates a substantial case volume. ENT Pathology: Primarily thyroidectomies and partial glossectomies. More advanced head and neck cancer resections, including locally advanced or neoadjuvant-treated cases, are generally managed elsewhere.
