HiTech Painting is a trusted name in San Diego residential painting, and our residential side is growing. We're hiring an estimator to build and run their own pipeline, from prospecting and the first walkthrough to the signed contract. If you like being out in the field, meeting homeowners and getting paid more when you sell more, this role is a good fit.

Pay & Perks

• $60,000–$70,000 base salary, depending on experience
• Commission on sold work, uncapped
• Car allowance and a company tablet

What You'll Do

• Generate new business through cold calling, follow-ups and local outreach, and work leads from referrals and repeat customers
• Walk interior and exterior repaint jobs, measure and assess surface conditions and prep needs
• Build itemized estimates using our pricing standards and estimating software
• Present proposals to homeowners, walk them through options, and follow up to close
• Hand clean, complete scopes to production so jobs start right
• Keep your pipeline and estimate records current in our CRM

You're a Fit If You Have

• 3+ years estimating residential painting, or painting-trade experience plus customer-facing sales
• Comfort with prospecting and cold calling. You don't wait for the phone to ring.
• Real knowledge of prep, coatings and application. You can look at failing exterior paint and know why it failed.
• Comfort with estimating software, email and a tablet
• A valid California driver's license, a clean driving record and reliable transportation

Bonus Points

• Bilingual English/Spanish
• PaintScout or similar CRM experience
• Time spent as a painter or foreman
