Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive finance and business location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, parking areas, entrances, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with location protocols, assisting with entry procedures, badge verification, and/or directional support while maintaining professional communication.
• Support day-to-day operations by reporting hazards, policy concerns, and/or maintenance issues observed during patrols, and follow post orders for incident notification, escalation, and report writing.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
