Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver comprehensive therapy services to clients in both individual and group settings, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

• Conduct thorough assessments to develop tailored treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each client.

• Engage in ongoing monitoring of clients' progress, adjusting therapeutic approaches as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Document all sessions accurately in Electronic Health Records (EHR) to maintain compliance with organizational and insurance requirements.

• Provide telehealth sessions in a HIPAA-compliant environment, ensuring confidentiality and comfort for all clients.

• Collaborate with colleagues to share insights and strategies that enhance service delivery and meet client needs effectively.

• Maintain active participation in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current in the field of marriage and family therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on serving a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing various mental health challenges and life transitions. By utilizing bilingual capabilities (Spanish and English), the therapist can provide inclusive services that address the cultural nuances of clients, fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship that encourages healing and growth.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree from an accredited graduate program in Counseling, Marriage and Family Studies, or a related field.

• Current, active, and unrestricted LMFT license in the state of New York.
\n
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to provide services in both Spanish and English.

• A minimum of two years' experience in a mental health setting, specifically working with diverse populations including children, adults, and families.
\n
• Respect for cultural differences and an understanding of the specific needs of diverse family systems.
\n
• Proficiency in utilizing EHR software and Microsoft Office tools.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to work within interdisciplinary teams and collaborate effectively with different stakeholders.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialized training or certification in CBT, TF-CBT, or EMDR.
\n
• Established area of specialization, such as trauma, LGBTQ+ issues, grief and loss, or perinatal mental health.

• Previous experience working in outpatient settings and with managed care organizations is regarded highly.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to USD 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications, along with a sign-on bonus.
