Customer Support Specialist - Distribution Location: Greer, SC Pay: $19-20/hr Schedule: M-F; Onsite
Our client is a market leader in their assignment as is searching for a rockstar Customer Service Specialist for their team. This is intended to be a temp to hire position with the outstanding going perm in approximately 90 days. Great mission, benefits and casual team environment.
What you get to do:
- Serve as primary customer contact for phone calls or e-mails
- Answer customer inquiries in a professional, courteous and timely manner and escalate issues as needed
- Follow-up on outstanding sales quotes/orders to completion
- Documentation of all work done and communications with the customer
- Work cross-functionally with other departments such as Purchasing, Warehousing, Contracting, Accounting and Operations on order fulfillment, etc
- Record any shipping discrepancies or customer requests for return
- Prepares formal proposals, requests for quotation or requests for information
What you need to succeed:
- High school diploma or GED; additional education is a plus
- 3+ years of demonstrated customer service experience and stability in work history
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail, ability to retain information and apply critical thinking skills
- Ability to thrive independently but as part of a close team
